Background
Caroline is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She graduated from Lake Forest College near Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and then received a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. Her clinical experience before OOAT includes working at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and in outpatient community mental health.
Caroline primarily works with children, teens, and young adults experiencing OCD, anxiety, and related concerns. She utilizes evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
Caroline’s approach to therapy is solution-focused, collaborative, and structured. She utilizes assessment to inform treatment and track progress over time to help ensure clients make meaningful progress toward their goals. She believes a strong therapeutic relationship is key and aims to meet clients where they are. She incorporates humor when appropriate and strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
